The “VIEW HOUSE” emerges from Ioannina’s urban cityscape as a concrete volume. Located in a suburban area of the city next to a small forest, this family house embodies our studio’s principal of minimalism, where transparency, mass, and nature are in a quiet dialogue.

As the name suggests, the view is a very important part of the design process, and is emphasized by framing the forest through the concrete design elements. The concrete walls and floors give off a sleek and contemporary feeling, while the courtyard creates a harmonious living space between the interior and exterior of the house.
